Bernardon provided architectural design services for the proposed redevelopment of an
existing Drexel University parking garage into a 30,000 SF “destination” Whole Foods
Market. This design creates a first-class sustainable organic market on campus, complete
with a one-story addition to the front of the existing structure, creating a sleek glass entry
and façade to the market. The upper level features outdoor café seating. Additionally,
the building’s unique greenhouse growth boxes will teach students and local residents
about sustainably growing fruits and vegetables.
