For many individual buildings, the project, maintenance, and budgeting process
often focus on the physical spaces within the building without consideration of the
building mechanical and electrical infrastructure needed to support the project or
building. In every case the building's mechanical and electrical infrastructure must
be considered. Also, over time a plan to upgrade the building infrastructure is
needed to ensure continuous, reliable, sustainable operation of the building.
