7 The concept of the Initiative

The Egyptian Tourism and Hospitality market is in dire need to build competencies, mobilize human
resources, in order to become a supportive sector of the Egyptian development again, and to be a contribution
part to the increase the rates of economic growth and comprehensive development.

In recognition of the Egyptian Center for Tourism and hospitality, the importance of vocational and technical
training in upgrading the tourism and hotel sector by linking the training programs to the real needs of the
labor market. The training for employment initiative will be launched to train youth cadres to work in the field
of tourism and hospitality, through Innovative training programs developed specifically to fulfil the needs of
the labor market.
