KNOWLEDGE BUILDING
Rather than providing you with the complete passage from the Bible, we encourage you to
open your Bible to discover the treasures in its pages. The translation you use depends on your
personal preferences. Have a highlighter on hand, and a pen and journal to record your find-
ings.

EXPERIENCE BUILDING
This is an overview, a setting up of the character or characters in the text you are reading. Then
we share with you the nuggets that inspire us when writing the devotions. As a result, we
encourage you to think of a personal story that relates to each of the MIGHTY characters.

CHARACTER BUILDING
Discovering the challenges these MIGHTY characters faced help us as we encounter our own
challenges. Picture yourself in the story, right alongside them, hitting the challenges head-on.
By looking at the challenges you face, you are driven to dig deep for the solution or solutions
made available to us by the “Almighty” God.

RESPONSIBILITY BUILDING
The solution to life’s challenges only works if we do. Our prayers to God also require perspira-
tion on our part. As author Mark Batterson says, “Pray like it depends on God, work like it de-
pends on you.” Furthermore, it’s important to have accountability along the way. We encour-
age you to find 3 people to share in your journey, grow and learn together.

CONNECTION BUILDING
Prayer is our communication line to God. We’re not alone on this journey. He is with us every
step of the way. Share with Him your thanks, blessings, gratitude, frustrations, fears,
challenges, and what you are learning about Him and yourself. He’s big enough to handle
it...He loves you… and HE wants to hear from you daily!
