Acknowledgements

The family of Alene Valentine wants to thank everyone for their cards,
letters, calls and prayers during this difficult time. We especially thank Hos-
pice Home Care for taking such good care of Momma in her final days and
the friends who also gave her loving care. We thank Resheda Stayton,
Brenda Williams, Tracy Smith, Earnestine Stayton, Zelda Roberson, Effie
Parham, and Kincaid Funeral Services for their caring support and
assistance when it was most needed. I would not have been able to get
through this without the loving kindness of Sister Beulah Kincaid Screws
and I am forever grateful. Last but not least, a very special thanks to
Brother and Sister Eddie and Frances Thomas for their tremendous help and
support over the years; and to all others, too numerous to name,
who showed they care, thank you.
