Purpose/ Mandate of the Agency: To carry on the business independently or as agents,
representatives, collaborators and associates, on land acquired through purchase, lease, hire
purchase, exchange, contract farming, taking over of operational projects, setting up of
turn-key projects or otherwise, of cultivation, farming, on clusters develop/ promoted
forestry, plantation, horticulture, floriculture, tissue culture, greenhouse farming etc.,
developing farms, agricultural fields, orchards, gardens, nurseries, to cultivate, plant, grow,
harvest, produce, formulate, manufacture, process, prepare, refine, extract, manipulate, grind,
bleach, mill, roll, can, preserve, cold store, warehouse, import, export, buy, sell, trade,
package, brand, market or otherwise deal in all kinds of agriculture produces, forest
produces, cash crops, seasonal crops, garden produces, herbal produces, horticulture,
dairy, poultry and farm products including food grains, cereals, seeds, plants, flowers, flower
bulbs, fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, edible and non-edible oils, spices, spice oils, extracts
of plants, leaves, barks, nuts etc., essential oils, oleo-resins, timber, scents, aromatics,
fragrances, grass, seaweed leaves, meat, fish, eggs, marine and animal produces and their
derivatives and by-products and preparations of any nature, any goods usually traded in any of
the above business or any substitute for any of them associated with the farming interests
and to develop/produce hybrid/bio-technologically modified seeds, plants, extracts, and

and utilization of fruits and vegetables for food and feed uses, modernization of milling
