Creative Projects: (Projects #1, #2, #3 and Final Presentation (50% of grade): Students will actively participate in the class project by working with a team to produce a media presentation that is cohesive and presents the goals of the project presentation. All presentations must support and reinforce the Multi-Media Class Project’s theme and brand.
Project #1: This will be the presentation of plans for creating, cultivating and activating the team’s creative project over the term. This includes concepts, delineation of roles, schedule and awareness of additional needed assets and training.
Project #2: The presentation of the first draft of the media project, showing an effort at excellence and cohesiveness to the brand of the class Multi-Media Project. Detailed planning includes a final schedule of deadlines, future episodes and benchmarks.
Presentation #3: The polished presentation of the first submission for final critical review. It should include a professional polished design, with all text error free, and a seamless integration into the Multi-Media Project as a whole. A final schedule of execution should be included, as well as a discussion on how the content interrelates with the other media projects. An evaluation of how analytics will be used to update, adjust or evolve the projects as the weeks go on.
Final Project Presentation: During the final week of class, students will present an overview of their team’s contribution to the Multi-Media Class Project to the rest of the class. Each individual team project will be evaluated for quality and continuity. A reflection on the success or possibilities for improvement will be presented as well as, an understanding of what skills were learned that may be applied in future endeavors. Each team project will be reviewed as a whole and as a summation of the parts.
