11. As technology continues to evolve in the future, what role do we have to assure it is used for the positive, worthwhile progress of humankind?
We must assure that it is used in a respectful manner that is inclusive and that the media spreads everyone’s message, not just single stories of specific groups of people. Moreover, technology must not be restricted from any group of people, it should be shared with all people in society so that we can all share our own individual stories on the media. Once technology is taken away from people, that is when social hierarchies may form and we may move very far backwards in society.
