                                                                            PARTNER BEST PRACTICES                                                                                                                                                                                 Claims Review Process As a Microban® partner, you are contractually obligated to comply with any claims regulations that apply to the territories where you are selling/marketing your antimicrobial-treated product(s). Advertising/Promotion “Partner shall promote the Products and shall prominently display, in a permanent fashion the Trademark on the Products and on all packaging, advertising, and promotional materials related to the products, in each case, in accordance with MBI’s Guidelines for Trademark Use (as updated from time to time) and as pre- approved by MBI. For the avoidance of doubt, the Trademark may be used only on or in connection with Products that contain the Microban Compounds and may not be used on or in connection with Products that do not contain the Microban Compounds. Partner understands that, under the Microban® Quality Assurance Program, any advertising or promotional claims relating to the Products, including, but not limited to, efficacy claims, must be accurate and consistent with label information and applicable regulatory authority. To ensure their accuracy and consistency, all claims related to the Products, whether printed, published, or broadcast, must be pre-approved by MBI before they may be disseminated. Partner shall be responsible for the content of its own claims and also shall take all necessary steps to ensure that any claims disseminated by its distributors and customers meet these standards.” The Process \{Insert account manager name here\} is your go-to person for claims reviews. \{Insert first name of account manager here\} must sign-off any marketing collateral (both digital and offline) that references the Microban® brand, features the Microban® logo and/or makes claims associated with antimicrobial technology prior to its publication.  THERE ARE THREE STAGES TO THE CLAIMS REVIEW PROCESS First draft or proof with correct and confirmed claims Final draft or proof for sign off (this is the amended/updated file for final approval) 3 Production samples that use the final approved artwork from the start of the production run, where applicable/appropriate Once submitted, a reference number will be issued which must be included in all communications during the claims review process. At each stage you will receive a feedback form or confirmation of approval. Reviews are a priority and your account manager will aim to process yours within 3 working days of a review submission. Marketing collateral and/or product packaging is only to be produced once final approval from \{Insert first name of account manager here\} is given.
