Transportation in Macau
Based on the characteristic of Macau about tourism city, Macau
government have been developing a modernization plan in
transportation, which can help to stimulate the development of
tourism. Transportation is an ancillary facility in Macau and provide
a comprehensive network to across Macau, even connect near
regions. First of all, Macau developed some international
transportation to assist the traffic in Macau. For example, Macau
international airport have started since 1995. Tourism and
Entertainment Company of Macau Limited own one-third of shares
of airport (Chen and Chen, 2001). Macau airport also can enhance
the competition in Pearl river delta and increase the freight volume.
