In a lush little corner of KGV, several wise old creatures lurk beneath neon green water. Are you ‘yarning’ to knit or still getting your needles in knots? Come to our friendly knit and crochet club to learn the techniques and get hooked on this massively
addictive yet incredibly relaxing mindfulness hobby. We can provide needles, hooks and yarn but you’re welcome to bring your own if you are already working on
The beloved KGV turtle pond needs your care, attention and ideas! This CAS activity will be an opportunity to: learn more about turtles, discuss and debate
conservation issues, design, develop and implement a more rigorous care plan for our little friends. a project. Guys - this isn’t just a group for the ladies, bros with rows are also welcome! Please get in touch with Ms Streeter if you are an experienced crochet or
knitter and would be happy to lead small groups for our skills tutorials (great for CAS).
With the revamp of the Textiles Rooms next year, there’s also a possibility for a re-think and re-design of their home. Plants, art, shelter...the world’s our oyster!
