Coconut Woman
Samantha lived in a small community with lots of
friendly people who had been great friends with
her parents. These villagers thought that her dad
always sold the best coconuts on the island. They
even made a name for him; they called him the
“Coconut Man.” Samantha’s father had loved to
interact with the villagers, and had made them
happy by doing delightful gestures.
Consequently, Samantha thought that she should
walk in her father's footsteps, and wanted to be a
respectable individual like him.
After completing high school, like her father, she
started to sell coconuts and other coconut
products at the local market where her father had
sold his coconuts many years prior. After a few
months, Samantha decided that, along with her
uncle she would go to the local shops to
purchase some supplies for her new business,
“Samantha's Coconuts.” They purchased a tent
adorned with coconut designs, a boom box to
play the catchy Coconut Woman song, some
straws to drink the delicious coconut water and
