Cycle of Life
Sadly, when Catherine was 14 her grandmother
fell seriously ill and passed away. This had a great
effect on Catherine as her grandmother had
loved and cared for her. The government took
Catherine to stay at a Girls’ Home. Catherine was
not pleased with her life. She struggled with not
knowing her parents and with the death of her
grandmother. She was at the point that she did
not want to be close to anyone because she did
not want to be hurt again.
