The Day A Robber Came Into Our Home

ersons living within my dead-end, middle-class
street call me ‘Sheri’. The shortened form of my
name ‘Sherika,’ which means ‘family’. Like my
siblings, I am observant, attentive, sharing and
caring towards family members and our
neighbours. . Residents on the street get along
with and respect each other, except for a man
named, ‘Gangsta’. He has, on many occasions,
uttered loud, angry outbursts to persons on the
street.
