Whilst there are no recommended textbooks, the Council
provides learning support resources on CXC®’s Learning Hub
for CVQ* programmes.

15. What are Regional Occupational Standards (ROS)?
Regional Occupational Standards are detailed written
descriptions of what an employee is expected to know, do and
behave in a particular role. They are benchmarks against which
the actual performance of people in occupational roles can be
measured or assessed and form the basis of the CVQ*.
