Awoken by a Space Creature
As soon as my parents went out of my room I let
the alien out of my closet and started to talk to
him about earth. Soon we just fell asleep.
In the morning I left the alien in my closet, went
downstairs to eat my breakfast and, of course, my
family asked me what was that big thing covered
underneath the sheets. I said, “Oh, it’s my science
project for next week’s School Science Exhibition!”
My dad asked if they could see it and I said, “NO!
It’s not ready as yet. I will show it to you when I’ve
finished working on it since I would like it to be a
surprise.”
As soon as it was past midnight I got my tools
and crept into the garden to repair the spaceship.
Two hours later, I had finished the repairs.
Carefully, I brought the alien down to his
spacecraft so that he could begin his journey
home to Mars. The spaceship started up and off
went my alien friend, back home to his family.
The next morning my family came out to the
garden as they were anxious to see my project,
