Awoken by a Space Creature

Though we had to struggle to get out of the

spaceship, we were alright, but the spaceship was
badly damaged. The alien was very sad and said

he was afraid that other earthlings would want to

capture him and harm him and he would never

get back to Mars. I told him to go and hide in the

bushes while I went inside the house and into my
bedroom.

I took four long bed sheets out of the closet with

me and covered the spaceship with them so that

my family would not see it out there. Then I took

my alien friend into my house to hide. We crept

into the house together until we made it to my
bedroom.

Almost immediately after, I heard footsteps and
realised that it was my parents coming to say

goodnight, so I grabbed the alien and shoved him

into my closet and pretended that I was asleep.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

My parents came in and kissed me goodnight.
