Hunting for Manicou
It was a quiet evening my friends Aaron, Hensley,
Giovonni, Jeron and I had nothing to do.
Jeron suggested that we cook stew manicou and
dumplings. We all agreed, however, we had one
problem - we had no Manicou. So we decided to
go hunting for Manicous in the mountains.
We searched almost all the trees in the mountain
but could not find a nest or any Manicous on the
trees. So we went back down the mountain
searching as we went down.
On our way down we saw a man, old but
well-built and tall. He was carrying a fine bag of
Manicous. We asked him for one because we
wanted to make a cook.
He strongly said, “NO!” The no was so loud it
echoed through the bushes.
