A Memorable Beach Birthday Celebration

The moment we anxiously awaited came. Happily,

I stood over my tempting pyramid-shaped,
chocolate cake with a wide smile on my face.

“Soon, you would be in my stomach,” I whispered.

Slowly, as they cheered, “Who-a-a!” I got ready to

blow out nine spiral-shaped purple candles. I

puffed and puffed until, finally, all the candles were
smoking sadly. Excitement filled me. Carefully, I

took the knife and pressed hard into the cake

twice. Then with a fork, I stuck and placed it into

my hungry mouth, chewing slowly at first, and,

with one swallow, it disappeared. I longed for
another slice.

Mother shared the delicious cake, beginning with

the restless children first. Everyone ate hurriedly.

Luckily, I got another slice and took time to enjoy
every bite this time. Within minutes, the cake was

finished. They showered me with wishes and lovely

gifts. I couldn’t wait to open them. Beautiful

pictures were taken, and everyone looked satisfied.

Now it was time for all the fun to stop.
