A Memorable Beach Birthday Celebration

I questioned. “Meeeeee!” screamed the children

excitedly. “Here are the pins,” offered mom. One,

two, three! Pop! Pop-Pop-Pop! cried the balloons.
Pieces of balloons flew into different directions like

sparks from a raging wildfire.

Suddenly, someone appeared with a costume

depicting my favourite cartoon character from
Sesame Street! Slowly it approached me, I was lost

in myself for a while.
