A Memorable Beach Birthday Celebration

          To  the  other  end,  was  a  large,  neat

          scribble—OMG! ‘It's your Ninth Birthday Amara!’

          The surprises were not yet over.



          An  unbelievably  huge  sand  cake  sat  on  the
          ground  with  fresh    purple  flowers  around  the

          bottom, as pink  ribbons laced the sides. On top

          were  some  beautiful  seashells  and  my  favourite

          sea creatures.


          “Who could have gone through all this work for a

          little girl?” I wondered. Tears of joy filled my eyes.

          I  thought—only  an  extraordinary  person,  my

          dearest  mom.  I  raced  towards  her  and  cried,"

          Thank  you,  mom-m-m!"  Nodding,  she  hugged
          me       and      whispered,        “Keep       being       a

          responsible child and there would be many more

          to come your way.”
