If Covid was Really a Dream
At that moment I wore the largest and happiest
smile of all time until I heard a knock on my room
door. It was my mom. “My mom?” I thought.
“Ray, you need to wake up. There is no school
because of COVID-19 and we can hardly be
anywhere. We will need to pick up as much
groceries as we can because we are not sure how
long this will last.”
I was shocked! This thing was real and my
superpowers were just a dream.
Mom and I went to pick up the groceries and
everything seemed very scary with all the people
wearing masks. I had never seen all those people
waiting to enter the supermarket. After hours of
waiting, we had to rush home before the curfew
hours began.
A few months after, I was over-excited when my
country was declared COVID-free and almost
everything was back to normal.
