The Curse

I decided to pray for her, because my mother
always told me that prayer is the answer for
everything.

I said the 23rd Psalm – “The Lord is my Shepherd”.
I asked God to bless her and take away the evil
spirit of the soucouyant from her.

Suddenly, I saw a red, vapour-like human shape
escaping from her mouth and with a loud screech,
it vanished in thin air.
