- Syllabus was first published in 1983. - Immediate circulation to sample of teachers
and specialists for review.

- Syllabus was last revised in 2009. - Panel meeting to finalise syllabus in January
2018.

- First examination on the 2009 - Finalised syllabus to be submitted to SUBSEC
syllabus was in 2011. for approval in April 2018 for first
examination in May–June 2020.

SUBSEC is asked to receive the report on the meeting of the Review Committee for the CSEC® Visual Arts
Syllabus and to note:

para. 6 : objectives of meeting;

paras. 7–15 : the technical report and Chief Examiner’s report on Music examinations;

paras. 16–19 : syllabus maintenance procedures and policies;

paras. 20–38 : the Review Committee’s response to issues raised; and,

para. 39 : summary of proposals.
