REPORT ON THE MEETING OF THE REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR THE
CSEC® VISUAL ARTS SYLLABUS
HELD ONLINE, 28–30 MARCH 2017

PURPOSE

1. SUBSEC is asked to note that the meeting of the Review Committee for the CSEC® Visual Arts
Syllabus was held on 28–30 March 2017.

WELCOME AND OPENING REMARKS

3. The Assistant Registrar/Syllabus and Curriculum Development Division welcomed the members
of the Review Committee and extended to them gratitude for having committed to being a part of the
review process for the CSEC® Visual Arts Syllabus. She also thanked Dr Owen Scott for consenting to act
as Convenor for the meeting.

4. She advised the Review Committee that the current syllabus, which was first examined in May–
June 2011, was being reviewed to bring it into better alignment with the policies and decisions of the
