An Unforgettable Experience

As I moved though the bushes, out of nowhere, a

piece of dry leaf swooped across my face and

went straight into my left eye! I rubbed hard to

remove it. As I blinked several times I could feel a
sharp pain in my eye.

I dashed home to my Mom and showed her what

had happened to me. She immediately suggested
that I should wash the leaf out with some clean

water. I tried this but my eye still felt very painful.
