At the same time, one of the burners in the lab

flared and the automatic sprinkler system in the
lab was activated. Patient 653 shrieked in pain and

collapsed to the floor. A blue vapour seemed to

surround her body as a yellowish liquid seeped

through her pores.

Dr Grey observed her for a few minutes until

patient 653 became quiet and her breathing had

returned to normal. Armed with a new pair of

gloves, Dr Grey examined patient 653 and

realized that she had returned to normal minus
her fever. Ruby and Jack suddenly burst through

the doors of the laboratory dragging two

vampires behind them.

Jack shut off the sprinklers and Dr Grey tested the
solution he was working on, on the two vampires

but there was no reaction.
