                    From Lara and Shiraz news came that Shah Tahmasp w

                  [fresh] news arrive, I will write to Your Lordship [and sen
                  by ships leaving for that quarter.
                    I have sent a terraquim t-o the island of Kishm to get
                  tho intentions of the Turks. I am writing to Your Lordsh
                  the afternoon, Sunday the 30th of October-a terraquim has
                  which we have learned that this same day all the fleet c
                  assembled at the point of the island of Kishm and de
                  that spot where they have been all the time since their dej
                  this place [Hormuz]. They have taken their course to B
                  out this very night just gone. Trust in God that ail this w:
                  great destruction of these people, by reason of the com
                  Lordship to this land and by your going towards Basra,
                  Bey will in no wise escape from the net. The letter Your L
                  to mo for Murad Ra’is [the ruler of Bahrayn], this I have
                  to him forthwith and I wrote and bade him gather his
                  case the Turks come to seize [Bahrayn], so that he could
                  self as it might be needful for the service of S. A., Our Lc
                  life and affairs of Your Lordship increase for many year
                  from Hormuz on the 30th day of October 1552.
