                          to Eivo tho Satisfaction required in respect to Dodjec Esoof's Debt; Our Own
                          Force must he ordered to proceed alone, & pursue the most effectual Measures
                          for retaking our Vessels and destroying those of the Chauh.

                              3. In our orders to Captain Baillie you will observe he is directed to
                          proceed with all convenient speed, and station tho t *   *   *

                          Chauh untill Such time as you may ho able to receive an Answer to the Demand
                          you are  ordered to make in the Preceding Paragraph. As soon as Captain Baillie
                          may  have performed this Service he will endeavour to forward to you a Copy
                          of these our Orders attested by Our Secretary (which he is furnished with for
                          that purpose, lest any Accident should happen to Our Packet) immediately on
                          Receipt of which you must lose no time in carrying our Intentions into Execution,
                          keeping Captain Baillie adviced of your Proceedings from time to time, the
                          he may regulate himself accordingly, & as Harmony & a good understanding
                          with the Officers is very essential towards insuring Success we shall expect you
                          exert your utmost Endeavours to promote the same.
                              4. Enclosed are the necessary Aocounts of the Stores Shipped on board the
                          Several Vessels, also List of the Military &o., embarked for the present Service
                          Should the Commanding Officers apply to you for an Advance of any money
                          you are to comply therewith, taking their Receipts for the Same, and we shall
                          Account with them on Their Roturn for Pay or other Allowances which may be
                          due to them on the Porco under their Command.
                              6. We have been informed that Restitution of the whole a great part of
                          the Treasure & Effects taken from the Islamabad may bo obtained, if proper
                          Measures are pursued for this purpose. If this is really the case, we permit
                          of your employing the force for that Purpose, as Soon as the Service against
                          the Chauh is over and you are accordingly to give Such Orders to the
                          Commanding Officers as you may judge most likely to answer that End, observ­
                           ing that whatever Treasure Stores or Effects may be taken either on this
                           Occasion, or from the Chaub must be kept in Deposit untill our Orders may be
                          received regarding them.
                              We shall only on your using the Utmost Expedition in the Exeoution of
                           the Above services, that our Vessels may be returned to us as Soon as possible,
                           particularly tho Eame Storeship which we have only freighted on the Occasion
                           at a Considerable Monthly Expence.
