SUNNI WAKF DEPARTMENT.

The condition of this Department continues to be
unsatisfactory and it will remain so as long as it

is am run priyately by the three Sunni Kadis.
There is a strong feeling among the general public

and also the lesser mullahs that they and the public
should have some voice in the administration of the

Sunni Wakfs, but unless H. E. Shaikh Hamad takes up
the matter nothing can be done.

On various occasions complaints have been made
to the Government that Wakf property is not being

properly administered, these complaints are referred
to the department concerned.
