210. The Ta'izz almanac says that white gulgulan is sown on the 3rd Nfsan
(16 May), sitnsim is sown on the 30th of Aiyar/Mabkar (12 June), gulgulan is
plucked on the 26th Ailiil (9 October). In my ‘Star calendars...' 446, the
earlier version of the almanac says jululdn is sown in Tihamah at the running
springs on 17 February. Possibly the apparent discrepancy in dates is because the
practice varies from district to district.
