We were blessed with great weather for our
College Athletics Carnival this year, which was
held on our own College grounds in April. It was
great to see so many students representing their
Houses in the variety of events on offer, whether it
be running in a track event, throwing or jumping in
a field event, or even pulling their House over the
line on the tug-of-war rope, which seemed to be
one of the highlights of the day.
Congratulations to Naughton House, who, under
the leadership of House Captains, Cameron Hine
and Brooke Williams, ran out eventual winners on
the day. Naughton’s House flag was flying proudly
after Cameron and Brooke raised it at the top of
the Amann Courtyard on Friday morning. Naughton
managed to just get take out last year’s Athletics
winners, MacKillop House.

13 Years Male – Mitchell Fitzpatrick (Bunjil)

14 Years Male – Vitolio Paulo (Naughton)
Female – Ruby Taranto (Maiocco)
15 Years Male – Jamie Grech (Naughton)
Female – Grace Krstev (MacKillop)
16 Years Male – Mitchell Bruce (O’Grady)
HOUSE
Female – Sophie Daniels (Colliton)
17 Years Male – Josh Emonson (Bunjil)
Female – Eloise Disher (Maiocco)
Open Male – Nick Fox (MacKillop)
Female – Brylie Clark (MacKillop)
A special mention must go to Mitchell Fitzpatrick
and Eloise Disher who won the Peter Godden
and Fred Rogers Awards respectively. This year
we also awarded medals to our fastest 100m
runners, which will continue in years to come.
Congratulations to Rylee Bone and Declan Berne,
ATHLETICS
who ran the 100m in 14.14 seconds and 11.64
seconds respectively.
