BEHAVIOR
The wise warrior understands behavior may result from the perception of past experi-
ences, which in turn, can become the foundation of future actions whether good or bad.
A wise warrior knows that when an attitude has been formulated it will influence the
perception of events or experiences.
The wise warrior understands that attitude, once formulated, runs the danger of making
an individual see or hear only what he wants…whether truth or not.
A wise warrior knows that differences among people can create a synergistic affect that
must be observed, controlled and channeled.
A warrior knows there is no ‘one way’ to deal with differences. Some may be more ef-
fective than others or may require combinations.
A wise warrior thoroughly examines information to ensure it is the truth before using it
to pass judgement.
A wise chief knows disputes can occur because some receive different information, var-
ying definitions of a problem, and different perceptions of their own power and authority.
A wise warrior will examine his own behavior before criticizing others.
A great chief is careful to act only on the information of those leaders who choose to sit
behind the battle lines. He knows that it is wise to speak to those who are in, and see the bat-
tle, for it is they who can sometimes provide the details that can turn the tide of war.
The great warrior knows that attitude affects behavior and attitude can be two types, one
is determined by whom and how many are present, and the second is when he is alone.
A wise chief knows that behavior is a result of an attitude. Loyalty is an influencing fac-
tor to behavior. He must continually strive to maintain the loyalty of the tribe.
Attitude and behavior are like an infection; it can quickly spread resulting in either a
positive or a negative outcome.
