Like doing vs. like to do
We use like + gerund (ing form) to talk about general likes:
I like fishing. likes:
I like taking pictures.
I like playing football.
We use like + infinitive to talk about more specific
I like to go fishing at the weekend.
I like to take pictures of the sunset.
I like to play football at the stadium.
Talking About Hobbies Quiz
