Inn: Another name for a hotel, often found in the country. (N.)
Interest: An understanding of information. (N.)
Itinerary: The travel schedule provided by a travel agent for his or her client.
Leisure: Free time to enjoy yourself. (N.)
Lift: A way of going up or down in an enclosed box driven by electricity (British
English). American English, it is called elevator (N.)
Lobby: The entrance area of a hotel, often with places for guests to sit. (N.)
Local: Close to where you live. (Adj.)
Location: The place where something is. (N.)
Low Season : That time of the year at any given destination when tourist traffic, and
often rates, are at their lowest. Also referred to as off: peak or off
season.
Luggage: The bags that travellers take with them. (N.)
Luxurious: Something very special, comfortable. (Adj.)
Maid: The person who cleans the rooms in a hotel. (N.)
Manager: The person in charge of the hotel. (N.)
Manifest: Final, official listing of all passengers and/or cargo aboard a transportation
vehicle or vessel.
Memorable: Something that is easy to remember. (Adj.)
Minibar: A small fridge in a room with food and drink that has to be paid for.(N.)
