Ricoh Lean forward with new technology


        Alan Diaz, Head of Retail and Logistics and his
        team have been looking into new ways to make the
        customer experience smoother. Two apps are being
        trialled on the concourse that allows the guest to not
        only make purchases easier but avoid long queues
        during an event.

        Swipe Station allows guests to pre-order food and
        drink for collection from their phone without the
        need for a data connection. SeatServe allows guests
        to order food and drink to be delivered to their seats
        in their stadium. All they have to do is log in, select
        a product and delivery time. Payments are taken
        online, and a member of the team delivers.

        According to the teams at Ricoh both apps have
        been received positively by guests who appreciate the
        improvement to their guest experience.
