Introduction

The world is the place where we live with abundant of other living
organisms which live together and have influences to each other in our
world environment. In the past, ecological balance makes our planet more
suitable for humans. Nowadays, our activities have a lot of effect to our
world environment. There are several major problems on pollutions
such as climate change, air pollution, deforestation, etc.
In this chapter, we will learn about some topics on environmental
problems, the effects of the environmental problems to our mankind and
the way to conserve our planet world in the future.

โลกที่เราอาศัยอยู่นี้ เป็นสถานที่ ที่ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งพืชและสัตว์ อาศัย อยู่ร่วมกัน

มากมาย และ สิ่งมีชีวิตแต่ละชนิด ต่างก็มีบทบาทในสิ่งแวดล้อม ที่สิ่งมีชีวิตแต่ละชนิดอาศัยอยู่ ใน

อดีต ความสมดุลทางธรรมชาติในสิ่งแวดล้อม ส่งผลให้โลกใบนี้มีความเหมาะสมต่อสภาพความ
เป็นอยู่ของมนุษย์ แต่ในปัจจุบัน กิจกรรมต่างๆของมนุษย์ในการดํารงชีวิต กลับส่งผลเสียต่อ

ธรรมชาติ ผลจากกิจกรรมต่างๆของมนุษย์ ก่อให้เกิดปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมต่างๆมากมาย เช่น

อุณหภูมิของโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป, อากาศเป็นพิษ, การตัดไม้ทําลายป่า ฯ

ในบทเรียนนี้ นักศึกษาจะได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับ ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมบางประการที่กําลังเป็น

ปัญหาในสภาพแวดล้อมในปัจจุบัน และ ผลกระทบของกิจกรรมต่างๆ ของมนุษย์ ต่อโลกใบนี้ และ
แนวทางในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ เพื่อโลกของเราในอนาคต

2.1 Warm up

The picture presents the effects of human activities on the
ecosystem. Look at the picture used for the tree and the message clouds
and discuss about the natural resources that are polluted and affected to
our lives.
