Development Intern
Prepared a graph displaying largest and smallest retailers by sales while geocoding the addresses to generate a
point location map in ArcGIS. Extracted the data for the project via www.hoovers.com and translated into excel.
Attended various important meetings, including redevelopment of the Boys and Girls Club and the “10-Minute
Walk” campaign. Discussed the potential value of prospective investments by participating in site location
analysis meetings with development and property firms.
Key Accomplishments:
• Analyzed existing Bike Share locations within New Rochelle to create projection map of potential Bike
Share locations.
• Designed eight potential new locations by using Business Analyst and Google Maps while sharing the
information with New Rochelle Development Department employees through PowerPoint presentations.
STARBUCKS COFFEE TRADING COMPANY, Lausanne, Switzerland, 5/2017– 8/2017
Hedging and Commodity Trading Intern
Coordinated with brokers, hedging and fixing future prices to set the most appropriate buying price of the coffee
beans. Regulated the processes of brokering and fixing future prices by performing hypothetical transaction
exercises. Liaised with farmers in Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Costa Rica to analyze fair trade
practices and eco-friendly production. Selected farms to obtain coffee beans for Starbucks based on quality.
Key Accomplishments:
• Classified approved beans and enable company access the categorized beans information via Oracle.
• Maintained best in class quality by testing over 200 coffee bean varieties.
INNERVATION FINANCE GROUP LLC, Larchmont, NY, 5/2016 – 8/2016
Finance Intern
Delivered general support in routine activities within a newly formed micro-financing company. Performed
various tasks, including general office assistance, reading and responding to emails, and speaking with potential
clients. Followed CEO during presentations and client interactions as well as provide assistance in deals, talking
logistics, negotiating prices, and managing investments.
Key Accomplishment:
• Provided assistance to the CEO by preparing three PowerPoint presentations while collecting information
regarding movement of capital between stakeholders and investors.
