Sarah Nunes, M.A.
Recruitment Associate

Sarah’s professional qualifications include over 19 years of public sector experience with the Human Resources Depart-
ment of the City of San José. Starting at the analyst level and eventually rising to the position of Employment Division
Manager, she gained experience in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, and general human
resources administration.
Sarah earned her B.A. degree in Anthropology from Beloit College, in Wisconsin, and was awarded her M.A. in Anthro-
pology from California State University, in Chico.

Brandon Romo, B.S.
Recruiter

Brandon came to K&A with recruiting experience in the world of financial tech. He has assisted with the recruitment for
positions from entry-level to C-level executives. He leverages his technical writing skills to lead each recruiting drive with
clear and concise communication for both clients and applicants at every stage throughout the hiring process.
Recently, Brandon he has been working on completing a recruitment for the City of Arcata (Building Official), Central
Marin Sanitation Agency (multiple positions), Calaveras Council of Governments (Transportation Planner), and is leading
a number of internal recruitments for our firm.
He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in writing from Portland State University.
