Donna is a good candidate with a 30 year career in the industry. She should move forward.
Donna's most recent assignments have been in small jurisdictions, she currently oversees Parks &
Rec in the Town of Windsor. Her approach is to engage the community in decision making and she
ensures that her department's communication and outreach efforts include a modern marketing
approach; the Town is very engaged with social media, and because of the strong social media
presence, parks is able to obtain a high level of community engagement and attendance. The
Town's concert series recently won an award. She has implemented a no glycosphate program,
which is very important to the residents, and she continues to communicate and be engaged with
the community based organizations and leaders in this effort. She is using innovative approaches
to energy efficiency, including considering floating solar panels. Her family is all in Sacramento,
she is very eager to join a larger jurisdiction and make a broader impact.
