 Extensive experience in the profession of Parks and Recreation Administration. I am highly motivated, innovative, resourceful,
 organized and creative. I have strong communication and leadership skills, with an emphasis in community engagement,
 responsiveness, customer service and program planning. Member of the California Parks and Recreation Society and National
 Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) - Completed NRPA Directors School in August 2014. Currently enrolled in the Sonoma

 WORK HISTORY
 09/25/06 to present (12.6 years)    Parks and Recreation Director                             Town of Windsor
 Report directly to the Town Manager. Oversee operations of the Recreation Division, Parks (155 acres) and Facilities (9
 buildings/83,000 sq. ft.) Maintenance  Division, Senior Center and Aquatics Division, Landscape and Lighting Assessment
 District Division, Park Development Fund Division and Capital Improvement Projects. Responsible for maintaining priorities,
 goals and objectives, cost recovery targets, energy efficiency programs, environmental sensibility and strategic marketing.
 Prepare  staff reports  and presentations for the  Town  Council,  Parks and Recreation Commission, Public Art  Advisory
 Commission and Senior Citizens Advisory Council. Successfully lead staff in producing a variety of signature community events
 utilizing community partners and sponsorship programs. Established the Windsor Parks and Recreation Foundation, Town
 Green Community Garden, Windsor Wellness Partnership and Hometown Heroes Military Banner Program. Recognition of
 Hembree House Museum as a historical landmark. Completed Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update in 2017. Awarded

 Under the supervision of the Recreation Director, coordinated community events and supervised afterschool licensed day
 care, teen services (The Underground), youth and adult sports, facility reservations and Tiny Tots Preschool. Facilitated facility
 maintenance, capital improvement projects, contracts, scheduling and the rental of five major recreation facilities. Served as
 the staff  liaison  to the  Youth Commission, Library  Commission, Sculpture  Committee,  Cable Company and Community
 Television. Other duties included staff training and the development of policies and procedures, budget development, report
 writing and presentations to the Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council. Budget: $1.8 million. Size of Staff: 15
 full-time and 20 part-time staff

 Reported directly to the General Manager. Supervised and monitored the operations and programming activities of the
 Recreation Department including customer service, computer registration, sports, aquatics, special interest classes, year-
 round day camps, enrichment  programs, special  events and community relations.  Assessed programs and systems  and
 facilitated  recommended updates.  Developed  district-wide policies and procedures.  Coordinated  training programs,
 evaluations and staff development  plans.  Prepared and monitored budget,  equipment  inventory,  capital improvement
 projects and 5-year Master Plan. Budget: $4.1 million. Size of Staff: 10 fulltime and 40 part-time staff

 Under the supervision of the City Manager,  served as department head and staff advisor to City Council and Parks and
 Recreation Commission.  Managed  community center  and park  operations  including park  land  acquisition, design  and
 construction, project  management,  administration of the operating,  maintenance and capital  improvement  budgets,
 facilitation of public workshops, requests for proposals, service and consultant contracts, grants, public art display contracts
 and dedication ceremonies. Facilitated community-building projects through collaborative partnerships. Prepared oral and
 written reports involving research, analysis and recommendations. Budget: $2.9 million. Size of Staff: 15 fulltime and 30 part-
 time staff
