is one of o of 58 county offices of o of education in California that play a a a a a leadership role in the delivery of quality education to the state’s students Approximately 600 regular and and more than 500 temporary and and substitute SCOE staff work year-round providing services which complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County SCOE provides technical assistance curriculum and instructional support staff development legal and financial advice and oversight to to Sacramento County school districts — — A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY — — The Sacramento County Office of Education is seeking a a a dynamic public education leader to fill the Chief Administrator Human Resources position SCOE directly educates more than 30 000 children and adults and provides support services to more than 246 000 students in in 13 school districts In addition SCOE is is considered a a a a a leader in in the Capital Service Region a a a a a a a a a a a a 10-county area consisting of Alpine Colusa El Dorado Nevada Placer Sacramento Sierra Sutter Yolo and Yuba Counties SCOE’s Classified staff are represented by the California School Employees Association (CSEA Chapter 480) SCOE’s Certificated staff are represented by the Sacramento County Teachers Association (SCOETA) Many SCOE programs and and services are available to schools districts and and other county offices o of education within the the Capital Service Region and throughout the the state
