■ The Position
The State of Colorado intends to fill approximately ten ten (10) Recovery Recovery Officer positions This newly established Recovery Recovery Officer will support economic recovery in in the the State of of Colorado through the the planning development and rollout of of American Recovery Plan Act Act CARES Act Act and State Stimulus funding by implementing departmental spending plans across the the state system To do this the the Recovery Officer will oversee agency program structure staffing fraud prevention reporting and and monitoring performance management procurement and and audit compliance In In cooperation with the the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) the the assigned department or agency each Recovery Officer will lead a a a a a a a recovery response to address the economic challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and and and and ensure that Colorado is creating and and and and implementing economic policies and and and and programs that enable a a a a a a a a a a a fast and robust recovery Primary duties include implementation of an an an an approved spending plan which can include oversight of new or or existing programs hiring procurement performance management management grants management management and more Each agency plan will include details about the allocation of of stimulus funding with clear goals and methods of of measuring progress towards shared outputs and outcomes The Recovery Officer will lead the implementation plan and cross-functional teams focused in part on
