This role role will be the the first official Human Resources role role at at the the District The perfect candidate will be excited about building the the HR and Risk function from the the ground-up The ideal candidate will be an an an an experienced human resources professional skilled administrator and and an an active problem solver who has the ability to identify gaps in HR services and design programs accordingly It is critical that the the HRRM be be able to wear many hats as they will be be the the only Human Resources professional at at the the District The ideal candidate will be adaptive and and open to to change They should be able to to switch focus quickly and and often This person will be a a a a a a strong business partner who works closely with the Manager and Department Heads to to create and and maintain a a a a a a a a a a culture dedicated to to best practices and and professionalism This successful candidate will be a a a a a a a a self-starter who thrives in a a a a a a a a fast-paced team-oriented environment They will also be a a a a good writer highly organized open-minded and flexible Education and and Experience: Any combination of training and and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities is is qualifying A typical way to qualify qualify is is graduation from an accredited university with a a a a a a bachelor’s degree in in Public or or Business Administration Human Resources Management or related field 5-7 years executive level experience in in senior-level human resources preferably in in the public sector Licenses Certificates & Special Requirements: Possession of an appropriate California driver’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles Desired PHR PHR SPHR CP CP CP CCP SCP or or similar
