The Director of Human Resources is is a a a a a a a a collaborative and visionary leader responsible for a a a a a a a a high-functioning division with with an an approximate 2 2 8-million-dollar budget and a a a a a a a staff of of 24 The position with with the support of of the the HR team actively engages with and provides advisory human resources services to the the Judicial Branch
including 22 judicial districts across the the state The Director reports to to to the the State Court Administrator and serves on on the the Executive Leadership Team The Director has 4 direct reports including the the Total Compensation Manager Employee Relations Manager Risk Management/HRIS and the ADA/Criminal History Coordinator/SCAO Analyst Key areas of responsibility include:
• Strategic Direction: Establishing the the strategic direction goals and and priorities for the the division and and assisting with the the development of strategy goals and priorities for the the Judicial Department including creating and and implementing rules policies procedures and and programs necessary to support the the operation of the the department and and gathering input from appropriate agencies and and staff • Management: Providing direction to the Human Resources team including assigning duties and responsibilities providing training mentoring and and coaching developing and and establishing procedures for operating and and and maintaining administrative systems and and and establishing expectations goals and and and performance feedback • Advisory Functions: Consulting and collaborating with various levels of Judicial Branch
employees other state agencies members of the the general assembly and and staff the the public attorneys private vendors and and corporate entities to facilitate the the the goals and and objectives of the the the division and and the the the Judicial Department • Collaboration: Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Division Directors Judges Court Executives supervisors and employees throughout the organization to provide advice regarding proper application of human resource systems federal and and state laws rules and and policies
