Story 68
Farming
If you have a strong arm,
A gun to protect yourself from harm
And if work causes you no alarm
Then life on a farm is but a charm.
Story 69
A True Yarn
The Scots call a mountain lake a tarn. They call a stone landmark a
carn. Although peculiar, the Scots call both an animal house and a
youngster a barn. Be that as it may, the sheep in their barn, provide
the best darn yarn, that any tailor should ever hope to darn.
Change: the “i” is left out of tairn and cairn.
