        A Long Wait for Parole
When people are on the dole, it becomes hard for police to keep shop•lift•ing
under control. Therefore se•cur•i•ty guards must help patrol, playing an
im•por•tant role keeping coats and stoles secure on their poles.
None•the•less, many a sorry soul will steal such things as a silver bowl or even a
console. And when caught, re•gard•less of what he stole, he likely will be given a
        prison role.

                                                         Leopold
"Mother, please!" said Leopold. "I am too old for you to scold. If I have told you
once, I have told you twenty-fold: I need to leave your household. My reasons
are man•i•fold. Living here makes me feel like a wi•ther•ing marigold.
"The journey I'll take is doubt•less•ly bold. I will travel through wood 'n' wold in
my search for silver 'n' gold. But thoughts of you I shall always behold, and thus
my heart shall never grow cold.”
