Did you know that smoking is an unhealthy vice?

And that smoking in public is not very nice?

Did you know that things done fast are done in a trice?

Did you know that a louse and a louse make two lice?

Did you know that thrice is just one more than twice?

Did you know that one die and one die make two dice?

Did you know that Ginger & Rosemary are sisters & spice?

And did you know that hot dogs sell at a "beefed-up" price?

Story 191

The Young Bride

To bide her time, a young bride may do things alone outside. She may

take a car ride to the seaside, where she may stroll with a lei•sure•ly

stride, wade in the ocean tide, or simply watch seagulls glide by.

But when she becomes a mother, baby shall be by her side, and she

shall be his trusting guide. Now and then she

may take him on a pony ride, or perhaps down a

water slide. And almost always she'll beam with

overflowing pride.
