Story 34
Fay Says She's Fey
Fay claims to be fey and soothsay. But on the
innocent, she'll prey.
She'll have you pick a card, say a trey, and
then try to guess your birthday. She may say
that your lucky month is May, that you might
win a Chevrolet, or that you'll marry a Jay or a
Ray. She may even say, that you'd better
start to pray, for you'll soon return to clay.
All for which, she will make you dearly pay.
Story 35
Neighing and Braying
Why do the horse and the donkey, neigh and bray ? Is
it because of the road's rugged way ? Or is it because
of the weight of their sleigh? A ton it must weigh!
Heigh ! Could it be they eat just grass, when what they
really want is hay ?
