                                  Go North

                               By June fourth

                          Most people go north

                                 Henceforth

                              The sun is fun

Only for those whose skin is swarth

                                                                                                       Story 296
                                                            Ship Ahoy!

As a baby, Roy brought his parents a lot of joy. Mrs. Dubois

said she loved the way he acted coy and how he played with

                                   a certain little toy.

She said, "He has never done anything to annoy me or Mr. Dubois, such as using a

de•ceit•ful ploy. He has always been a great joy, and our pleasure will never cloy."

When Roy grew up he had to leave his home in Illinois. He joined the Navy's

employ to be upon a ship in a convoy and fight the men of Hanoi.

His parents cautioned him to stay around a good buoy. Then they kissed their

boy and said, "Ship ahoy, you dear, dear Roy !"
